First childhood memories: bright yellow flower opening in a breathtaking beauty, while snow is melting around the plant.
Or: going with my father in the evening from house to the cellar where we were hiding, I saw amazing bright rays of light in the sky!
Katiusha's were shooting from the forest onto German lines in the west.

Flower opening, rockets flying - a child sees no difference between beauty and beauty.

I rented atelier-room, over painted blue(!) walls and ceiling three times with white, to have no doubt.
Brought some canvas and acrylic Rembrandt colours from Warsaw (ten times cheaper there). Visited carpenter workshop in neighborhood and was able to work there the nights, paying with one of my Knife Story paintings; cutting wood, building eight stretches 134 cm x 134 cm.
In my white room then stretching canvas on frames, another ten days: the glue comes three times on canvas, then primer three times, canvas polished in between with fine and finer sandpaper.
Painting flowers was possible then - all the autumn and winter through.
Large single-blossom flowers with their auras or perfume, if you will.
