The beauty of blooming apple trees is a timeless motif that I paint. But apple blossoms are not the only subject of my paintings. I am also fascinated by stars and galaxies and love to incorporate them into my work.
Stars and apple blossoms banter with each other which of them I love more, teasing me with their beauty, and I can't choose between them. That's why I often paint them together, giving each of them their unique presence on the canvas.

The shots died down, it's time for Creation
In the late spring of 1944, eastern Poland, I was suddenly awakened at dawn by the sounds of gunfire. My father calmly assured me that the German soldiers were withdrawing from the area. As the shots died down, there was a soft knock on the window, a gust of wind whipping against the panes of an apple tree branch, the white blossoms of which were ethereal in the early morning light. With brushstrokes, I salute that fateful morning when I first consciously saw the beauty and wonder of the world around me, despite the shooting fools around.
